Tillamook Locomotive Works, LLC was created in 2005 by Scott Wickert after Skookum owner Chris Baldo approached him about restoring #7 back to operation. The locomotive was removed from its storage in Mineal, WA on the grounds of the Mount Rainier Scenic RR. The boiler and tender went to Centralia, WA at a private shop operated by Scott. The running gear went to another site in Tillamook, OR. The following list is some of the work completed to date.

  • Parts Cataloged
  • Small parts cleaned and painted
  • Boiler tubes removed
  • Boiler shell cleaned
  • New smoke stack fabricated
  • Injector stop valve bodies installed
  • Tender truck rebuilt
  • Repairs to tender frame completed
  • High pressure engine set disassembled
